How JevKit handles account, usage, analytics, and playground data.

Overview

JevKit is an independent playground and guide for Jev. This policy describes the information processed when you browse the site, create an account, or use the live Playground.

Information We Process

  1. Account information — If you create an account, we process the name and email address needed for authentication.
  2. Usage metadata — We record whether a Jev API call succeeded, the question type, approximate input size, estimated API cost, timestamps, and hashed identifiers used for quota and abuse protection.
  3. Playground input — The state and question content you submit is sent to the TypeSafe AI Jev API to complete the request. JevKit's V1 usage log does not store that submitted text.
  4. Analytics data — If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may process standard website interaction and device information under their respective policies.
  5. Cookies — JevKit uses authentication cookies and a first-party anonymous identifier needed to enforce the one-call anonymous trial.

How We Use Information

We use this information to operate authentication, enforce free-call limits, protect the public API integration from simple abuse, keep API costs within the site's budget, understand site usage, and diagnose failures.

Service Providers

JevKit relies on infrastructure and service providers to operate the site. Live Playground requests are sent to TypeSafe AI's Jev API. Hosting, database, authentication, and analytics providers may process data as necessary to provide their services.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed when required by law, to protect the service or users, or to service providers acting on our behalf.

Security

We use reasonable technical safeguards, including server-side API credentials, encrypted transport, access controls, and hashed identifiers for quota enforcement. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

You may choose not to create an account and may avoid submitting sensitive information to the Playground. Account data may be subject to access, correction, or deletion rights depending on applicable law.
